Abadie, Einzelfiguren, Französische Armee

 Hello,

Today I’m showing you a few more individual figures by Abadie. This time, they are figures representing the French Army. With this, I should have actually presented every piece I’ve collected from Abadie here on the blog!

The figures are once again 6 cm tall and were included as promotional items in various packs of cigarette paper. Children's toys used to advertise tobacco products! Times have certainly changed a bit!

With these figures, too, it is noticeable that the same figures exist in slightly different colorations and sizes. This is particularly apparent with the tanks.

Best regards,

Andreas

Artillerie a Cheval - Fischbach No.7

 Hello,

It’s time for another Fischbach print!

This time it is number 7, depicting mounted artillerymen. Unfortunately, my copy has slight creases and repairs at the corners. Nevertheless, in my opinion, it is worthy of a collection. You can find further information about Fischbach in the "Catalog" or in the posts covering the prints previously featured. Simply click on the small orange "Fischbach" label below the posts.

Best regards,

Andreas

Imageries Reunies Jarville-Nancy - 1 Armée Indienne

 Hello,

Today I am showing you sheet number 1 from the Imagerie in Jarville-Nancy.

It depicts 26 soldiers from the Indian Army. This image (like most from Jarville-Nancy) was originally published by Imagerie Delhalt Nancy. If you look there, you will find the corresponding sheet number 2 with more Indian soldiers, which I had already posted.

Best regards,

Andreas

Wurtz-Pées - Wurttemberg (Wuerttemberg)

 Hello,

Today I am once again showing an insert from "Soldats Napoléoniens" featuring hand-drawn soldiers from the Wurtz-Pées family. This time, they are troops from Württemberg.

Best regards,

Andreas
