Today I'm showing you a printed sheet from Robrahn & Co. in Magdeburg.
It's number 4717 and depicts Prussian Uhlans on horseback. Looking closely at the uniforms, the only possible model is the Silesian Uhlan Regiment No. 2 (Schlesisches Ulanen Regiment Nr.2), as all the other regiments wore different color combinations. The plate depicts 12 riders, each 11.5 cm tall. This corresponds to a man's height of about 8 cm.

Today I would like to show you my loose figures of the Austrian Federal Army (up to 1938) from Abadie. This is the first of two posts; here I'm showing the figures with green grass bases.
There's also a "Parade" series, and I'll show the figures I have from that another time. Assigning them to individual "Soldaten-Bilderbögen" (soldier picture sheets) with numbers, as I did with my Italians from Abadie, isn't possible here, as I don't know all the printed sheets—I don't even know how many different ones there actually were. The only thing that is certain is that some of the figures in this series were also used repeatedly, meaning that one and the same figure appears on a wide variety of printed sheets.
The first group shows leadership personnel with a general and a general staff officer.
The next two, an officer and a rifleman, are wearing the green collar patches of the Jägertruppe (light infantry).
The last group consists of five figures: an officer, two identical assaulters, and two hand grenade launchers. These figures are referred to on the sheets as "Alpenjäger" and so belong to the mountain troops. Apart from the yellow collar patches, there is no other distinguishable difference from the "regular" infantry.
That's all I currently have in my collection on this topic.
These figures are all in the Abadie standard size of 6cm.

Today I'm showing you a printed sheet from Spain.
It's number 18 from the Barcelona-based manufacturer La Editorial Roma and belongs to the "Constucciones Fernandito" series. This series was printed between 1942 and 1945 and comprised a total of 25 sheets. It features six Spanish cavalrymen, each measuring just 6.5 cm in height. These small figures correspond to a figure size of 4.5 to 5 cm.

Today I'm showing you another cut-out paper figure.
It's from a small collection I've just acquired. The sidecar motorcycle comes from Rauert & Pittius Sheet No. 119. These printed sheets from the RAPI Wehrmacht series don't have titles, they're just numbered. Similar motifs from other manufacturers, however, are labeled "Motorized Infantry." Of the two Kübelwagens and four sidecar motorcycles printed on such a sheet, unfortunately, only this one survives.
The motorcycle is 17 cm long and 10 cm high, which corresponds to a figure size of approximately 8 cm.

Today I'm showing you another printed sheet from C. Burckardt's successor from Weissenburg (Wissembourg).
It's number 1251, which depicts Württemberg infantry. The soldiers are already wearing the spiked helmet introduced in 1871, but still wear the double-breasted jacket. The uniform can therefore be narrowed down to the period 1871 to 1892.
The figures are 8 cm tall and, as is usual with this manufacturer, rather poorly colored.

Today I'm introducing a completely different topic.
Just for fun, I tried creating some figures using AI. Ultimately, it was quite a journey from the idea to the finished figure. It took me many attempts to even find the right inputs, and with the free accounts, that's almost impossible. So I signed up for a cheap monthly subscription and kept trying to find the right programming to create stylistically consistent (or even close) figures. After a while, it worked quite well. However, each figure still needs editing and post-processing.
I know that some people use my scans of historical figures for printing and crafting. Perhaps someone can use these figures, too.
The first set consists of US Army Military Police figures from World War II. The standing figures are about 7 cm tall overall.
Next up will probably be some US Marines.

Today I'm showing you another Silbermann sheet. This time No. 25, featuring the Voltigeurs de la Garde.
From what I've observed, this is probably the only Silbermann sheet you can still find in large numbers today. These voltigeurs were first printed sometime between 1854 and 1857 and were produced until 1870. As always with Gustave Adolphe Henri Silbermann's figures, these are printed with oil paints, which makes them look much more vibrant (and therefore more valuable) than competing products (e.g., Wentzel or Pellerin) from this period.
As with many surviving printed Silbermann sheets, this one also has a subsequent advertising imprint on the back.
The figures are 10 cm high.
