Abadie - Soldatenbilderbogen, Musikkorps

Hello,

today I'm showing you another Abadie sheet. This time it's an infantry band, specifically from the Austrian Guard Battalion.

I have one complete sheet from the first series, and I'll also show you a variant from the second series. These second-series sheets are slightly larger, and the arrangement of the figures was often changed. This is also the case here. Unfortunately, a piece of the sheet is missing, as is the Roman numeral. I suspect it once bore the Roman numeral "II," but that's just my guess, based on the fact that the Guard Battalion itself had the number I. Perhaps I'll manage to find an undamaged sheet someday, and then I'll show it to you here in my little blog.
