Zouaves - Fischbach No.2

Hello,

Today I’m showcasing a few Fischbach Zouaves. I previously presented the complete "Sheet No. 2"; here are some individual figures that have been cut out. They come from various sources and I’ve collected them over time—you can even tell by the colors of the bases that they originated from different sheets.

I find a certain charm in the way the small wooden blocks were attached to some of them using tiny nails. Unfortunately, some parts have broken off; in fact, many of these figures only stand upright because I repaired their broken or bent legs using small wooden pieces. Furthermore, the composition—with more officers than soldiers—is certainly a bit odd. But I’m confident that I’ll come across more loose Fischbach Zouaves eventually, and then I’ll surely be able to expand this little unit a bit further.

Best regards,

Andreas
