Hello,
today I'm showing you a printed sheet from Alfred Jacobsen's Danske Billeder series.
It's number 341 and depicts Danish dragoons.
Jacobsen's sheets have always fascinated me because, in my opinion, they are very attractively drawn and also very well printed.
Besides the attacking dragoons, the two pipe-smoking soldiers in field caps are particularly noteworthy.
The high number (341 of about 400 in total) suggests that this sheet was produced sometime after 1915.
The horsemen are between 9 and 10 cm tall, which corresponds to a figure size of 7.5 to 8 cm.
